Hello scrappy friends. It’s Anna here with my favorite kind of project – rainbow one! I am trying (and long way ahead me) to use up some older CVS collection to make some room in my box. I was in the mood for some colorful design so I thought it would be fun to dive into ephemera packs and pick elements in all colors of the rainbow. I wasn’t paying attention to the inscriptions or shapes, I was just looking for particular colors. I managed to get some nice piles of pink and blue elements and only a few yellow and green.
You can spot bits and pieces from several collections, like: “Bohemian dream“, “Wild at heart“, “You rock“, “Love always“, “Free spirit“, “Hello sunshine“, “Hello lovely” and “Life is beautiful“. I had such a big fun running through older stash and I must admit I felt so inspired and I already have few ideas for some more projects made with those collections.
I used white cardstock and few mists to create my background. It was really fast and easy process. I took a foil that is bigger than 12*12 page, and sprayed the edges of it with different colors of mists. I took my cardstock and placed it over my messy foil. I pressed gently and lifted up the paper. My rainbow was ready.
I created a title of my page using chipboard titles from “Bohemian dream” collection. This is really fast was to add titles to you pages. You can also find black version in “More than words” collection. The advantage of white one is that you can color is with paint or mists to get the color you need.
As you can see I used both glue and 3D foam squares to adhere my ephemera pieces. Using foam tape adds this great texture and dimension to the page.
I hope you like my rainbow page and are inspired to dig into older stash waiting for more, amazing CVS collections to come. Because, I am sure of it, you will want to have them too 🙂
Thank you for stopping by and see you in two weeks.
