Hey everyone, it’s Raquel here and today is a bittersweet day for me on the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog. I have been blessed to be a part of the design team for Cocoa Vanilla since it’s beginning in 2015. I have loved every moment being on such a lovely team, my longest time on a scrapbooking team to date. However, since returning to full time teaching this year, a job I love with all my heart, I have found the time to commit to creating become less and less. This put pressure on myself to get projects finished with very short time frames. So unfortunately I am saying a farewell to this special team…farewell and hopefully not a goodbye, as CVS will always be my #1.
Of course for my final layout and page today I wanted to create a bit of a special and sentimental layout. Here is the layout that I have created using the Happiness collection.
Here are some close ups of my layout and journaling:
One of the biggest blessings of being on the Cocoa Vanilla team was that I know I have made a friend for life in Zoe. I take my hat off to Zoe for juggling all that she does; with home life, designing these amazing collections that we all adore and all the processing and packaging that many of us do not know about. You see those amazing ephemera pieces that we love? They have been manufactured and lovingly pressed out and packaged by Zoe or her family. There are not many scrapbooking businesses that we can say that for. It is a proper, home grown, hardworking Aussie business.
Having been on the team for a handful of years now, I have come to know and adore Zoe and really value our friendship. For me, having a break from CVS and designing pages for you all, the hardest part felt like I was letting my friend down. However, I know that although I will be leaving the official designing for CVS doesn’t mean that anything may change. Poor Zoe is stuck with me now! …… bittersweet, in the words of Winnie the Pooh, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”.
I love all the Cocoa Vanilla Studio stands for and love that I am supporting an incredibly hardworking Aussie owned business. From my first post on the blog to todays post, my love for the products has never faltered. Creating with CVS has truly been a joy and each time I think I have found a new favourite collection, Zoe tops it and raises the bar even higher.
I am looking forward to being CVS’ number one fan and will continue to share and spread the CVS love on all my social media channels. I am excited to be representing CVS next year with Zoe on the Unmistakable Creations Cruise in Feb 2020. Be sure to check it out if you wanted more information, I think there may only be a handful of places left.
