Hi Cocoa Vanilla friends,
Nikki here :)Today I will show you a scrapbook layout I´ve made with the brand new and most beautiful Happiness collection. This is such a sweet collection with a lot of bright colors and flowers.
For this layout I used the 6×8″ paper pad with some of these bright and colorful papers. I created a waterfall-like background and decorate it with some hearts and three big phrases.
The waterfall effect can be created with the help of paper stripes. For this you cut out of the 6×8″ papers about 3×6″ strips and glue them offset one above the other. You can make the top paper a little larger so that it closes the layout at the top. In order to get a few more dimension in the background, you should only apply the glue to the upper half of the paper strips. Then you can curl the unpaved edges.
On a layout one can take several titles to underpin the story behind the picture. I have chosen three titles that describe the characteristics of my brother (the young man on the picture).
Due to the fact that the papers are very colorful, you can also keep the decoration colorful. I always try to make sure that the colors are found at three points on the layout. This is how the layout, in spite of the many colors, looks harmonious and calm.
I hope you had fun and are inspired by this beautiful Happiness collection. Thank you so much for stopping by the Cocoa Vanilla blog and make sure to share your projects with us!
See you soon and happy creating!
