Hi everyone, welcome back to the Cocoa Vanilla Studio blog.
Today I am sharing with you a way to use up your stickers. Cocoa Vanilla Studio produces wonderful affordable sticker sheets that are needed to add the special little details on your layouts but so often we are left with lots of half used sheets. In the layout today I am sharing with you a way to incorporate those left over stickers into the background of your layout. I hope you like and I hope you give it a try.
I began by applying clear gesso to white cardstock. Then with some pink and yellow spritz I created a blended background.
This gave me a beautiful custom base to work on.
I then fussy cut the stunning flowers from the More Than Words Sketchbook patterned paper.
I surrounded my photo with the cut out clusters and made sure that my background was still peeking out all sides of the cluster.
At this time I grabbed the stickers and started placing them around the photo cluster. I wanted to create the effect of random words floating around. Similar to the splats of ink I pop on at the end of the layout.
I then added a few ephemera pieces and some clipboard elements to further create some dimension.
To finish off I added a Wild at Heart wood veneer title.
I hope this layout has inspire you to pull out those sticker sheets and use them up..
