Hello Cocoa Vanilla friends. It’s Anna here with my newest project made with CVS goodies. New collection in on it’s way to my end of the world but I am still enjoying older ones. Usually I have projects made in advance to share them here with you and I make them when the mojo strikes. My recent project however was made in last minute and I had to search for inspiration. I was going through my CVS box thinking what should I use and then I rediscovered the stamps. They were included in two most recent collections: “More than words” and “Bohemian dream”. The thought of using them unlocked my mojo and this layout made itself in less than an hour.
I started with a white background and a stamp set from “Bohemian dream” collection. I used the brush stroke shape and few ink colors and created my own pattern paper. I really like the effect and I am going to spread my wings with making another backgrounds for further projects 🙂
I backed my picture with a paper from 6*6 paper pad with colorful rectangles. It really matches my background. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the title. Story behind this picture is quite funny. I was taking pictures of Maja and her cousin Kuba and asked him to kiss her in the chick. He was willing to do it, but then Maja made this funny face screaming she doesn’t want to be kissed by anybody. That’s why I used two words: KISS? and NO! Navy paper “Abundant” looks really good over this soft yet colorful background.
I finished my page by adding few flowers and small elements from “Bohemian dream” ephemera pack and chipboard stickers sheet. I also added two flair buttons from the same collection. They were my two last and I need to restock with them ASAP.
That’s all for today. I hope I inspired you to reach for your stamps and play with them making your own patterned papers. Thank you for stopping by and see you in two weeks.
