Hello CVS friends, well I finally got my hands on the FAB new collection Boys Rule and I LOVE it!
So this week there is no pretty here but a totally fun boy layout! I have created a 8.5×11 inch layout.
As those who know my scrapping know I love cut files and sewing on my layouts, and this layout I have incorporated both. I love this funky cut file from Paper Issues (free) and of course I had to add some messy machine sewing.
The clear stickers are just brilliant to add to your projects. I added the clear sticker paint strokes to my title, how good do they look! I also added another green one to my layout and several stars.
Out came my sewing machine (of course haha) and I machine stitched in white twice around on the black cut file.
I kept with the design of my used cut file arranging my embellishments in a circular way.
I used a grey polaroid die cut frame, adding a row of machine stitching to the edge and finished off with another clear sticker paint brush stroke. I tucked a die cut star and sticker tab under my photo frame.
I love the flairs from this collection and added two, although I wanted to add them all to my layout! I added numerous sized stars from the die cut ephemera pack, clear stickers and then some chipboard crosses.
Under my photo I added the die cut Mr Fantastic banner, tucked the die cut camera under the photo frame and tied these elements together with a marquee type chipboard arrow.
Finally I added my title ‘King if every Thing’ die cut (I cut off the crown) with the added paint brush strokes clear stickers. I added my title with foam tape to add height .
To finish my layout off I added a splatter of black color shine.
And there you have it! Having such a fab collection to work with certainly is the key to getting my mojo going!
