Hello spring layout | Anna Komenda

Hello everyone. It’s Anna here. Month ago I shared with You a layout with hand made flowers. You can check it here >>> click. Many of You asked me how I made them so I decided to create a page with similar flowers. It was just right in time as my theme for today is spring. And what is more spring than flowers? I mixed few Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection, mostly “Make a wish” and “Hello sunshine”. They both have fresh colors, perfect for framing spring photos.

I love wood grain patterns. They match every color and season. That’s why I picked this “Fresh cut” paper as my background.

I used two pictures I took few years ago. I just love this vivid blue sky and soft, pretty apple and cheery blossoms. And I even managed to catch a bumblebee flying from flower to flower. Perfect spring photo.

I used some “Make a wish” paper scraps to cut my flowers. I just sketched them on a paper and cut them. If You are not good in drawing things, You can use You Cameo and cut some flower shapes. I am sure You won’t have a problem finding matching shapes.

I made leaves using a green paper “Leaf litter” from “Color me happy” collection.

I created flower center using woodies and enamel dots from different collections.

I finished the page adding “hello spring” tittle. I mixed chipboard sticker from “Wild at heart” collection with alpha stickers from “Make a wish”. I also added some flowers from “Hello sunshine” ephemera pack.

I also have a process video for You 🙂 Remember – You ask, I listen 😀

I hope You like this page and felt inspired to make Your own spring pages.

Thank You for stopping by and see You in two weeks.

Anna lives in Poland with her little family: husband, two daughters and a beagle dog. She is also a scrapaholic and has been addicted for over six years. It all started when her older daughter was born. She had so many cute photos and wanted to make some pretty albums to expose them. That's how she found out about scrapbooking and it turned out that it was a very important day in her life. Since that day she's never been bored and her hands are always dirty and colourful. She loves the process of making things, framing her photos and memories. It makes her feel grateful for what she has, and helps to remember how great life is on bad days.
