I am so thrilled to be here today as the newest DT member for CVS (yes I am still pinching myself!). Here is a little about my self.
I am a huge fan of using my Silhouette Cameo and cut files, so this was my starting point. I first chose a cloud cut file by Silhouette Paige Evans, I have removed some of the bottom clouds as I wanted to create a the illusion of a sky. I added some machine sewing once lightly glued to my white base paper.
I then cut a bird wreath cut file from the noteworthy paper . I wanted to add some softness to my layout so I cut a circle from vellum and attached by machine sewing (which always adds great texture to your page). I then glued the bottom half of the wreath to my white card stock and once dried I added a generous handful of sequins and added one of the gorgeous vellum butterflies from the vellum accents ephemera and then glued the top half of the wreath to secure its pretty contents. To soften the wreath I added some of the beautiful vellum flowers again from the vellum accents ephemera.
I wanted to make the kissing birds a feature so I added the ‘Hello Lovely’ banner and blue heart from the chipboard accent stickers and finished off with a small floral bloom tucked in between the birds.
To finish off my layout I have added sequins in a random manner over my clouds. I fussy cut the rabbit from the small die cut tag, added a sentiment from the accessory stickers and a tiny vellum bloom (who can resist a super cute rabbit!)
With three boys I do love the opportunity to create ‘pretty’ and More than Words certainly inspires that! Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to sharing more of my creations with you.
