Hi All,

Belinda here with a quick and cute little tutorial for you today! I was flicking through my Cocoa Vanilla Studio papers the other day after having been on a recent hunt for a little gift bag when it occurred to me to make my own. I’m sure I’m not the only one who sometimes has a very short amount of time to craft so I love little projects like these that are quick and easy but allow me a little creative release. And with Mother’s Day coming up this seemed like the perfect project to share with you all.

STEP 1

Find yourself a die cut for whichever machine you’re using- for me it was a template purchased on the Silhouette online store which I cut on my Silhouette Cameo.

Once cut carefully pop the cut shape from the sheet (of course keep all your offcuts, I always use mine up!).

This particular template was great, it had dotted lines for the machine to cut along each fold of the bag. Fold along these dotted lines.

Next, tape along each of the folded tabs and start sticking your little bag together.

Once it’s all stuck the bag is done, see, super simple! Of course using the gorgeous CVS papers meant the inside of the gift bag had the reverse pattern, I love how it looks when opened!

Once the little bag was done I decided it needed a little matching card. I quickly layered some of the stickers and cork hearts onto a piece of patterned paper to create a perfect little matching set.

Step6_edited-1This was a fun, quick project made easy with the gorgeous Sugar & Spice collection. Hopefully it inspires you to take a minute to create something, even if a few minutes is all you have spare.
