Hello crafty friends. It’s Anna here with my first project created with super awesome “Midnight” collection. I am so in love with those colors and flowers. Zoe did fantastic job designing it (like she always do 🙂 ). I am sure everyone will find something favorite and useful in this line. I was so desperate to get it quickly in my hands that I chased the postman around my neighbourhood.
Every year, in October we visit Łazienki Królewskie. It’s a big park, that is surrounding a historical palace. The park itself is old, beautifully designed, filled with fountains, sculptures, bid trees and pretty flowers. We always take some nuts and seeds with us to feed squirels and birds. They are very friendly and you can feed them directly from hand. I always take a camera with me and try to shoot some fall photo session. Thanks to that I have a lot of great pictures to scrap later 🙂 The photo I used for today’s layout is the one taken few days ago during our walk.
I took pretty purple ombre paper and contrasted it with white cut out from cut file from Paige Evans’s shop at Silhouette Store. I backed some of the flowers and leaves using papers from 6*8 paper pad.
With such a pretty, floral background you really don’t need much of embellishing. I added few smaller flowers from ephemera pack along with label.
I also added few chipboard elements. they are such a great accent on every page. I love the dimension they add to every project. It’s always my favorite type of embellishment in every collection.
Sometimes less is more and when it comes to “Midnight” collection, it’s so easy to let it shine. I already have one more project reaady and can’t wait to share it with you.
Thank you fro stopping by and see you in two weeks.
