Raquel Bowman here sharing my latest layout using the Sugar and Spice collection. For this layout I decided to focus on a multi photo design and the element of stars.
Other: white card stock, sewing machine, white thread, doily, typewriter, adhesive cork, Heidi Swapp die, cuttlebug machine, Plain Vellum, Silhouette Cameo, Silhouette cut file, Alphabet stickers.
To create the main design I used a cut file I found in the Silhouette store here. I loved that I could frame a few photos as well as frame and highlight certain papers in the collection.
For the title frame I used the three pattern papers and cut sections of the oval from each to make what looks like a pie chart. The title was mixed from a die cut machine and alpha stickers in my stash.
I love the convenience of having a typewriter in my scrapbooking room. It is so easy to add my journaling to each page and looks good too! I normally adhere my journaling strips with a liquid adhesive like ‘glossy accents’ so it stays down well and doesn’t curl up at the ends.
I adhered the whole frame, including the doilies which were matted on some frames using foam tape. it makes that whole photo collage really pop off the page. I finished the page with a few cork stars to tie the design into the background.
I hope this has inspired you to scrapbook a multi photo layout.
We are all eagerly awaiting the arrival of the two new ranges Made of Awesome and Hello Lovely. Stay tuned to the blog to see our project shares using them 🙂
