Hey everyone, its Raquel here sharing a layout featuring an oldie but goodie collection Endless Summer. This collection features one of my fave florals from the CVS collections and I have featured it on this layout.
Here is the layout that I created:
This layout features my little girl and a story of how on this particular day she had gotten herself dressed and ready for the day. She has such an individual style when she chooses her own clothes and I really wanted to document that in this layout. I chose to print my photo black and white otherwise the colour of her clothes would have clashed with the colour palette of this collection.
The photo was adhered to the top centre of the page and I added clusters of flowers and white die cut florals to either side. The clusters were created from fussy cut florals using the Aloha Sunshine patterned paper. I also added scatterings of wood veneer and enamel dots to the page.
As usual I added typewritten journaling in strip form to the bottom right of the photo. Extra small embellishments of wood buttons, enamel shapes, and stickers finished off the journaling space perfectly.
The whole page needed something to finish it off so I added a border of the Blue Skies patterned paper and some machine stitching for added texture. To finish the page I added a small splattering of Gold Lame Colour Shine.
Thanks so much for stopping by the CVS blog today. I hope my little oldie but goodie layout has inspired you.
