Hello Sweet | Hello Lovely | Anna Kossakovskaya

Hello, everyone! Anna is here and it’s my turn today to show you my project from Hello Lovely collection. It was my first time I cut it and I’m just excited! So beautiful collection for the girls of all ages. And I created clear and soft layout about my baby girl. I love this her bright pink jacket (and she adores it too much hah!). Collection has this color too (some ephemeras and enamel dots), orange and woodgrain details coordinate with the skin color.

With my Silhouette Cameo I cut some triangles on the white cardstock and glued patterned paper under the some triangles. Also I sticked with the foam tape a sheet with black flowers silhouettes behind the entire background to add some depth effect.

Also I added all kinds of embellishments to bring some pretty details to the page.

And as you can see on these pictures, the deth effect makes the good result and very interesting view, I also stick some embellishments into the die cut triangles.

Boys Will Be Boys | Made Of Awesome & Flying High Photo Screen | Anna Komenda

Hello. It’s Anna here with another inspiration created with two masculine collections “Made of awesome” and “Flying high”. I made a photo screen with pictures of my nephew as a gift for his mum.

cv1

I made a base of my screen using a sheet of craft paper. I just simply cut a strip and folded it into three pieces. Thanks to that I do not need any prop to make it stand.

cv8

cv2

My pictures are in blue and navy with a pinch of grey and it was the pallete I was looking for in my paper stack. I decided to use “Lucky star”, “Mixed up” and “Directions” mixed with scraps of “Flying high” papers.

cv4

I needed to add some merry colours to brighten up the screen. I chose yellow and orange.

cv5

I used gorgeus stickers “Boys will be boys” and stars from “Made of awesome” accessory stickers. I also added few ephemeras into my composition. I needed few cute elements to embellish this little boy and the plane from “Flying high” was just perfect.

cv7

I mixed up stars: stickers, wood veneers and plastic little stars.

cv9

I added flair and enamels dots as the final touch.

This is really fast and simple project and You do not need anything more than just a papers and embellishments to create it. No shopping for frames and canvases. Perfect fot little gifts.

See You in two weeks 🙂

Happy Snaps!

Welcome!

It is Michelle here with a new layout featuring the gorgeous ‘Hello Lovely‘ collection.   My middle child recently had an Art Show at her Kindergarten and we all went along and looked at all the lovely art on display.  Whilst we were there we took some photos of the girls outside.  I really love doing multi-photo layouts but often I love to use lots of product on the page too so it is always a balance of the two for me. So here I have created a quick photo collage and printed out some smaller photos so I had lots of room for embellishing.Happy Snaps

The gorgeous pinks and teals of the Hello Lovely collection are perfect for girly layouts.  I first created my background using some teal mist then I have used several strips of patterned papers from the collection to draw you into my photos.

Next I loved the Happy Snaps journal card from the ‘Lucky Dip’ patterned paper which has lots of little cards perfect to add to your pages. I cut this out and added it as main focal point of my layout.  Then, I added lots of Ephemera, Stickers, Vellum Hearts and Wood Veneer as well.

Say Cheese | Made of Awesome| Sophie Sim-Lawrence

Hello there! I have come to realise that it gets tougher to take pictures of my kiddos as they grow older. Somehow, they think that they are suppose to charge towards me whenever I point my camera at them. I was pleasantly surprised to find this picture in my camera wen I downloaded my photos. I love that cheeky smile on my boy’s face and his attempt to “say cheese”, complete with placing his fingers on his cheeks – a pose he picked up from his older sister.

This page was truly fun to put together as I totally love all the ephemera and embellishments that are found in the Made of Awesome collection. I started by fold the top right hand corner of my page and decided that it would be a fun peekaboo effect to tuck a camera card in that corner.

I think cutting into the images found on the journaling cards make this patterned paper all the more versatile and that was exactly what I did to get the speech bubble and the huge capital letter A.

After getting my photo on the page, it was a matter of playing with all the die cuts and selecting which ones to go on the page and layering them. All that with a sprinkle of sequins, wooden stars and enamel dots for a completed page.

Thanks for joining me today. I hope you are in love with the Made with Awesome collection, just like I am.

K | Made of Awesome | Sue Plumb

Hello Cocoa Vanilla fans! It’s Sue here with you today sharing my first layout using the brand new boy-themed collection – “Made of Awesome”. Can I just start by saying that this collection really does live up to its name? Truly awesome, for little and big boys alike!

Here’s what I created…

K

I decided to stick with the blue / orange and the neutral black / white / grey tones from the collection, as they make such a gorgeous combination together. Just a tip – make sure you get plenty of papers as there is such a great range of patterns you will want to use them all! (I used the Rock Star; Lucky Star; Boys Rule and Mixed Up papers.)

K_CU2

Hard to say what my favourite embellishment from this collection is, but right now, I am seriously LOVING the die cut ephemera – there are so many cool bits and pieces to choose from! They look fantastic layered together.

K_CU3

Vellum stars and enamel dots *swoon*…say no more!

K_CU4

Yet again, this collection features a very cool set of coordinating flair buttons, along with some rocking resin little stars that add some fast and easy pop to your layout!

K_CU1

For anyone who has ever said they struggle putting together “boy” layouts, or for those who do it with ease, this collection is for you! There are so many coordinating embellishments that you can’t go wrong. “Made of Awesome” will definitely have you making awesome things of your own!

This collection is available NOW, so ask your favourite scrappy retailer if they have it in stock, or alternatively, you can purchase it from the Cocoa Vanilla Studio store HERE. (Don’t forget to check out the amazing special offer currently available on both the “Made of Awesome” and “Hello Lovely” collections!)

Til next time, happy scrapping!
