This Life is Pretty Wonderful

Hello Cocoa Vanilla friends!

Marcia here today with a Hello Lovely layout to share with you. I am head over heals in love with this gorgeous collection! I really love the variety of embellishments. Truly, there is something for every type of scrapper.

Last summer I did a photo shoot for my sister and her family. My brother-in-law is battling cancer and distant family had come to visit. I was so pleased to have captured this photo of the two of them. I thought the Hello Lovely collection would be perfect to scrap it. I’ve been thinking of these two a lot lately as my brother-in-law is back in the hospital again.

I wanted to use the woodgrain paper to carry through an outdoorsy feeling but wanted to jazz it up a bit. I used a JustNick digital cut file to create a mask from cardstock. Laying the mask on top of my woodgrain paper, I then sponged on some Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I love how the background turned out. Here is my layout…

My title came from the journal card sheet of pattern paper. It was perfect don’t you think!

New with this collection are these gorgeous flowers, enamel dots, and ephemera die cuts. I layered them all here, creating a cluster along with the flair and a wood veneer piece from the collection.

This journal card sentiment was perfect. Happy moments with family and friends need to be cherished. I embellished it with more ephemera die cuts, stickers, and wood veneers.

Then & Now | Hello Lovely LO | Annelie Maddock

Hi everyone, happy Friday!

Today I’m excited to share my latest LO created with the gorgeous “Hello Lovely” collection.

I adore the colour combinations in this collection, and they work so perfectly for my girly photos!

For this LO, I started with cutting out holes in my cardstock with my silhouette. I then chose papers to adhere behind. I left two holes for photos.

Then the fun began! I went a bit nuts with stickers, ephemera and other embellishments to fill up those holes!

To be honest with you, I’m not really a flower girl. But the flowers in this collection are just beautiful. And that bow? Swoon…

The alphas I have used are actually from the “Made of Awesome” collection. I just wanted that black pop for my title!

That little doilie is from my own stash, but everything else is from “Hello Lovely“. And lovely is JUST what it is, don’t you think?

‘Hello Lovely’ Layout | Hello Lovely | Belinda Griffin

Hi All,

Back today with my second Hello Lovely project to share, a not very original but aptly titled layout- ‘Hello Lovely’! I don’t think this collection will ever get old for me, it’s just all so pretty. In case it’s not obvious yet I adore repeated patterns/shapes on my layouts so this time opted for repeated hearts.

Hello Lovely Jun15

I’ve used a mixture of cork hearts from the previous Sugar & Spice collection along with Hello Lovely vellum hearts, cork hearts, heart ephemera, hearts from the sticker sheet, hearts cut from the patterned paper and of course photos cut into hearts. And for good measure some little doodled hearts. Heart overload, right?!

Hello Lovely1In the spirit of the collection I decided this layout should be simply titled ‘Hello Lovely’, so I used a piece of the wood veneer and the word ‘lovely’ from the ephemera pack to create my title.

Hello Lovely 3_edited-1

And finally I added two little sentiments towards the bottom of my layout, the ‘just wonderful’ from the sticker sheet and this super sweet ephemera piece, and a quick scattering of sequins.

Hello Lovely2

If you haven’t tried repeating a pattern or shape before have a go, it’s a quick and easy way to create a fun and effective layout!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today,

Hello Sweet | Hello Lovely | Anna Kossakovskaya

Hello, everyone! Anna is here and it’s my turn today to show you my project from Hello Lovely collection. It was my first time I cut it and I’m just excited! So beautiful collection for the girls of all ages. And I created clear and soft layout about my baby girl. I love this her bright pink jacket (and she adores it too much hah!). Collection has this color too (some ephemeras and enamel dots), orange and woodgrain details coordinate with the skin color.

With my Silhouette Cameo I cut some triangles on the white cardstock and glued patterned paper under the some triangles. Also I sticked with the foam tape a sheet with black flowers silhouettes behind the entire background to add some depth effect.

Also I added all kinds of embellishments to bring some pretty details to the page.

And as you can see on these pictures, the deth effect makes the good result and very interesting view, I also stick some embellishments into the die cut triangles.

Boys Will Be Boys | Made Of Awesome & Flying High Photo Screen | Anna Komenda

Hello. It’s Anna here with another inspiration created with two masculine collections “Made of awesome” and “Flying high”. I made a photo screen with pictures of my nephew as a gift for his mum.

I made a base of my screen using a sheet of craft paper. I just simply cut a strip and folded it into three pieces. Thanks to that I do not need any prop to make it stand.

My pictures are in blue and navy with a pinch of grey and it was the pallete I was looking for in my paper stack. I decided to use “Lucky star”, “Mixed up” and “Directions” mixed with scraps of “Flying high” papers.

I needed to add some merry colours to brighten up the screen. I chose yellow and orange.

I used gorgeus stickers “Boys will be boys” and stars from “Made of awesome” accessory stickers. I also added few ephemeras into my composition. I needed few cute elements to embellish this little boy and the plane from “Flying high” was just perfect.

I mixed up stars: stickers, wood veneers and plastic little stars.

I added flair and enamels dots as the final touch.

This is really fast and simple project and You do not need anything more than just a papers and embellishments to create it. No shopping for frames and canvases. Perfect fot little gifts.

See You in two weeks 🙂
